Hello! I am Ramón Romero, the founder of “Physio as Therapy”, a Physiotherapy company dedicated to offering high quality treatments. Initially, I studied Occupational Therapy at the University of Granada, but my passion for research and helping people with chronic pain led me to explore different treatments.
My career includes working for several years as a researcher and professor at the University of Granada, also teaching at the University of Valencia, Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), and Ecole d’Assas in Paris. On the other hand, I have presented my scientific research at many international conferences such as the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and national conferences such as the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR). At the same time, I was studying my first master’s degree in Physical and Forensic Anthropology, I decided to continue my training with a doctoral thesis and a second master’s degree in research on Movement Disorders and Functional Alterations. Finally I decided to study Physiotherapy, to complete my training in this field.
Throughout these years, I have published more than 15 scientific articles and presented more than 200 scientific communications at many national and international conferences. My passion led me to study Physiotherapy, and now, in Mallorca, I have decided to put all my knowledge at the service of my clients.
Currently, I collaborate with a plastic surgery clinic, offering aesthetic physiotherapy treatments and I am the coordinator, physiotherapist and occupational therapist of the Association No child without therapy Mallorca, which is an association that provides therapies to children with autism spectrum disorders. At the same time, I also provide home delivery services in villas and yachts.
On the other hand, I continue to increase my knowledge to be able to apply it to my patients, and I study Osteopathy at the School of Osteopathy of Madrid (EOM), and a master’s degree in Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy (aesthetics). If you experience chronic pain, don’t worry, you’re in good hands! I am committed to improving your quality of life and providing you with the best care possible.
